Job Summary

The Perioperative Registered Nurse is a vital member of our healthcare team, providing high-quality patient care in the perioperative services. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for delivering safe, effective, and patient-centered care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide quality patient care using the nursing process and medical plan of care
  • Support the mission, vision, and values of United Surgical Partners
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to patient care planning
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Monitor and report patient progress to the healthcare team
Requirements
  • Current Illinois RN license
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • At least 1-2 years of nursing experience
  • Previous experience in surgery preferred
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
  • Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient management
  • Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
  • Ability to adapt to changing patient conditions
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
