Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Student Worker in the Food Services department. As a Student Worker, you will play a vital role in assisting with the preparation and serving of quality and nutritious meals to students and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing and serving meals, washing dishes, and cleaning equipment and facilities as needed.
  • Understand and follow proper procedures for safety and use of food service equipment.
  • Contribute to a positive work environment and ensure proper following of current sanitation guidelines.
  • Collaborate with nutrition staff, building staff, and community members to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
  • Follow all local and district health safety codes, complete annual health and safety training, and follow all current uniform guidelines and Osseo Area Schools Food and Nutrition personal hygiene procedures.
Requirements
  • Must be 16+ years old and have a job coach on site.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
Working Conditions

This is a casual, school-year position with varying hours depending on site needs. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a team environment and maintain a high level of professionalism.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $13.00/hour and the opportunity to gain valuable work experience in the food services industry.
