Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Associate to join our team. This role involves ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our event spaces, including painting, plumbing, drywall/trim work, electrical repairs, and deep cleaning sessions. Your attention to detail, commitment to quality, and ability to juggle tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment will be essential to delivering top-notch results.

Responsibilities:

  • Painting and Minor Repairs: Maintain the enchanting ambiance of our event spaces through regular paint touch-ups and minor repairs.
  • Plumbing Issues: Swiftly tackle small plumbing issues to ensure seamless event experiences for our guests.
  • Drywall and Trim Work: Work your magic to maintain the elegance of our venue by repairing and replacing drywall and trim as needed.
  • Electrical Repairs: Shed light on any electrical issues by replacing bulbs and handling minor electrical repairs.
  • Deep Cleaning Sessions: Dive into periodic deep cleaning sessions to keep our spaces sparkling, inside and out.
  • Carpet Cleaning and Wall Wiping: Roll up your sleeves for carpet cleaning and wall wiping duties to maintain impeccable standards.
  • Landscaping Tasks: Add a touch of green to our surroundings with light landscaping tasks.
  • Banquet Equipment Maintenance: Keep our banquet equipment in top-notch condition by assembling and maintaining tables, chairs, and more.

Requirements:

  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in maintenance and repair work, preferably in hospitality or a similar setting.
  • Attention to Detail: A knack for painting, plumbing, drywall/trim work, and basic electrical repairs.
  • Team Player: Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering top-quality work.
  • Efficient Task Management: Ability to juggle tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and a team-player attitude.
  • Physical Fitness: Physical fitness to handle manual tasks and lift objects as needed.
  • Safety Knowledge: Knowledge of safety protocols related to maintenance work.
  • Flexibility: Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Travel Requirements: Local travel may be required.
Physical Demands: Must be able to walk and stand for hours at a time. Lift and carry up to 60 lbs.
