DXP Enterprises is seeking a skilled Assembly Pump Mechanic to join our team in Shreveport, LA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assembling skid units and industrial equipment, interpreting assembly drawings and measurements, and operating weld machines, cutting tools, and other industrial tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble skid units and industrial equipment
  • Interpret assembly drawings and measurements
  • Operate weld machines, cutting tools, and other industrial tools
  • Work overtime as needed

Qualifications:

  • Some experience working with rotating equipment is necessary
  • 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
  • Ability to operate industrial machinery
  • Understanding of measurements and assembly drawings
  • Ability to operate industrial machinery properly

Additional Information:

Physical Demand: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Working Conditions: Shop environment

Training/Certifications: N/A

Shift Time/Overtime: Must be able to work day/night shifts and overtime as needed

Travel: N/A

Education: High School Diploma or GED
