This position is responsible for providing technical assistance and support to grant recipients in Region Six. The ideal candidate will have experience with grant monitoring and interpreting federal regulations and policies.
Key Responsibilities- Provide grant monitoring and administration services to grant recipients
- Offer technical assistance and support to internal and external stakeholders
- Develop and analyze grants documentation and financial status reports
- Interpret and apply laws, regulations, and policies related to disaster grants management operations and monitoring
To qualify for this position, you must have one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the IC-07 level in the Federal government. This experience must have equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position.
Experience may be obtained in the federal government, a state or local government, or private sector, and must demonstrate the following:
- Assisting with disaster grant management tasks, processes, and procedures
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve grant program management and administration issues
- Preparing financial performance reviews or audit reports
OR master's or equivalent graduate degree OR 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree OR LL.B. or J.D., if related OR Combination of education and experience
Working ConditionsThis position requires the ability to deploy with little or no advance notice to anywhere in the United States and its territories for an extended period of time. You must be able to obtain and maintain a Government credit card.
This is a Non-Bargaining Unit position. Deployment travel may be required, based upon agency needs. Deployment expectations can vary and will be discussed with candidates during the selection process.
