The selected candidate will be instrumental in overseeing the department's daily functions, ensuring the delivery of exceptional services while actively engaging in Quality and Safety initiatives.

  • Must possess a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution
  • Eligibility for an Illinois Physician license is required prior to employment
  • A valid Illinois Controlled Substance license must be obtained before starting
  • Licensure with the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration is necessary before employment
  • Completion of an ACGME accredited or equivalent residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology is required
  • Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology or Board Eligible; certification must be achieved within 2 years of employment
  • Completion or anticipated completion of an ACGME approved maternal fetal medicine (MFM) fellowship is essential
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is preferred
