Job Title: Medical Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Health Advocates Network, Inc. in Littlerock, Washington.

Job Summary:

The Medical Assistant will provide patient care under the direction of nursing staff, record patient information, update and maintain client records, and assist with medical inventory management.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide patient care under the direction of nursing staff
  • Record patient information, including vital signs, weight, and changes in medical history
  • Update and maintain all client records
  • Assist nurse in maintaining medical inventory
  • Administer prescribed medications to patients
  • Sterilize and prepare medical tools and equipment
  • Maintain a clean and healthy environment
Requirements:
  • At least one year (12 months) previous working experience as a Medical Assistant
  • Must have up to date certification in the state of Washington
  • CPR card issued by the American Heart Association
  • Ability to build rapport with patients
  • Compassionate and caring demeanor
  • Familiarity with medical terminology
  • Qualified for travel rate if permanent residence is 50+ miles away
