About the Position

The County of Santa Barbara is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Branch Chief of Clinical Outpatient Operations to lead our Behavioral Wellness Department. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of our outpatient services, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our clients, and promoting a culture of excellence within our department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of professionals in the development and implementation of clinical programs and services.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of services and effective communication.
  • Develop and manage budgets, contracts, and grants to support clinical operations.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a related field (e.g., social work, psychology, public health).
  • Seven years of experience in a related field, including at least three years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Valid California licensure in a related field (e.g., LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, Clinical Psychologist).
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in program development and implementation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
