About the Role
As a RN Resident at Memorial Health University Medical Center, you will be part of a comprehensive program designed to support your transition from student nurse to registered nurse. The program includes advanced clinical training, monthly educational sessions, preceptorship training, and mentoring from experienced nurse leaders.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patient condition and identify changes in patient status
- Perform procedures and monitoring as ordered by medical providers
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient response
- Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests and anticipating patient needs
- Teach patients and families about medical conditions, treatment plans, and medications
Requirements
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 1 year of employment
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State
- No previous experience needed
