Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Early Intervention Developmental Specialist to join our team at Human Services Management Corp.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of infant-toddler development and utilize a parent coaching model in their work with families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in screenings, assessments, child groups, parent groups, center visits, and home visits as a member of the Developmental Services team.
  • Collaborate with families to develop and implement individualized plans to support their child's development.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to parents on strategies to promote their child's cognitive, social, and emotional development.
  • Conduct assessments and screenings to identify areas of strength and need for children from birth to three years old.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive system of support for families.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, or a related field.
  • Experience working with infants, toddlers, and their families in a developmental services setting.
  • Strong knowledge of child development theory and research.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
