We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team at S.E. Smith and Sons.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Diesel Mechanic to work on a wide range of heavy-duty equipment, including trucks, tractors, and trailers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair complex diesel engine issues
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes and tire rotations
  • Conduct inspections to ensure all equipment is in good working condition
  • Fabricate and repair custom parts as needed
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve common goals
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance
  • ASE certification in diesel mechanics or equivalent experience
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment and tools
