Overview:

Imperial Dade, a leading North American distributor, has a Non-CDL Delivery Driver role available in a dynamic and growing market.

As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering products to multiple stops per day, utilizing a 24-box truck with air brakes. You will need to unload merchandise using hand, pallet jack, and dolly, and deliver it to the customer's preferred location. Providing exceptional customer service is a crucial aspect of this role.

You will work from Monday to Friday, starting at 6:00 am until the daily route is completed. Imperial Dade is a mission-critical partner to more than 120,000 customers through our footprint of 130+ branches.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a 24-box truck with air brakes up to 25,999 GVW
  • Load and unload cargo via hand, manual pallet jack, and lift gate
  • Properly track and document activity log
  • Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
  • Inspect the truck before and after trip
  • Communicate with customers with an outgoing attitude

Qualifications:

  • A good driving record
  • Must have a valid DOT medical card or be able to pass a DOT medical exam
  • 1 year of route delivery experience
  • 1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience
  • Lift gate experience
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted
