About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Banquets Server to join our team at The Ritz-Carlton, Charlotte. As a Banquets Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring that every detail is attended to, and every guest leaves with a memorable experience.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare coffee breaks, carts, and stations with the necessary supplies to ensure a seamless service.
- Organize tables, action stations, buffets, and carts to ensure a visually appealing and efficient service.
- Communicate any additional meal requirements or special requests to the kitchen to ensure that every guest's needs are met.
- Ensure that courses are properly cleared and crumbed in a timely fashion to maintain a high level of service.
- Manage the presentation of tableware to ensure that it is accessible and appealing to our guests.
- Monitor cleanliness and proper sanitization of tables, stations, and service areas to maintain a high level of hygiene and safety.
Requirements:
- Great conversational skills and a teamwork-oriented approach to ensure that every guest feels welcome and valued.
- A positive outlook and outgoing personality to provide exceptional service and create a memorable experience for our guests.
- Previous banquet serving experience is highly desirable, but not essential.
- The ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs, as well as stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time.
- A professional appearance in a clean uniform is essential.
