Position Overview:

POSITION SUMMARY
Delivers patient-centered care by conducting examinations of surgical specimens and completing surgical case reports with efficiency and accuracy.

Responsible for performing gross dissections in alignment with established protocols to facilitate precise microscopic diagnoses.

Employs analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to ensure reliable clinical outcomes.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conducts examination, gross dissection, and documentation of surgical specimens under the guidance of a pathologist.
  • Engages in compliance and quality management activities regularly and contributes to special projects as needed.
  • Assists with specialized tissue processing, including handling tissues in unique fixatives and culture media.
