Key Responsibilities

As a Civil EIT/Coordinator, your contributions will include:
  • Supporting the Senior Engineer in conducting site assessments, designing site layouts, and performing hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, as well as preparing contract documents and graphic presentations.
  • Executing comprehensive site surveys, establishing site layouts, and planning grading, utility placements, and drainage systems.
  • Carrying out routine engineering tasks that apply established techniques and methodologies.
  • Completing projects with defined objectives and manageable variables.
  • Managing administrative responsibilities related to civil/site and water resource project management.
  • Working autonomously on smaller projects or assisting senior engineers on larger initiatives.
  • Undertaking additional tasks as required.
Qualifications

Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word; experience with AutoCAD and MicroStation is advantageous.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • A proactive attitude and a commitment to engaging in our employee-owned culture.
Desirable Qualifications
  • No prior general Civil Engineering experience is required.
  • EIT certification is highly preferred; candidates without EIT certification will hold the title of 'Coordinator' and are expected to obtain their EIT for career advancement.
  • Preference will be given to candidates from the local area.
