Reporting Structure:

Accountable to: District Store Director, Store Manager, Assistant Managers, Pharmacy Department Manager, and Staff Pharmacists.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Main Responsibilities:

  • Delivering prompt and courteous customer service
  • Welcoming customers and providing effective assistance
  • Utilizing customer names to enhance service experience
  • Managing phone inquiries and providing necessary support
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Processing prescription orders and requests
  • Preparing and labeling medication containers accurately
  • Handling insurance claims and managing pharmacy inventory
  • Conducting cash transactions and ensuring cleanliness in the pharmacy
  • Complying with all pharmacy technician regulations and guidelines

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in various store functions as needed
  • Completing other job-related tasks and projects as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certification as a pharmacy technician with ongoing education
  • Prior experience in pharmacy environments is preferred

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to perform physical tasks and exert force as needed
  • Visual acuity for various job functions

Work Environment:

This position operates in a dynamic retail setting with a variety of daily tasks and occasional exposure to chemicals and solvents.
