Job Summary
Ampcus is seeking a skilled Senior Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools.
- Use performance data to identify areas for continuous improvement and implement changes to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Proficient in using welding, hydraulics, chains, belting, pneumatics, HVAC, PLC I/O devices, and circuitry to repair and maintain production equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings to understand equipment operation and maintenance requirements.
- Troubleshoot older machinery when schematics are not available.
- Use a computer database to detail all relevant maintenance work performed, including work orders, requisition forms, and PM tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure tools, parts, and materials are stored in a neat and orderly manner.
- Champion a culture of safety, quality, CC&S, and regulatory compliance by following procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss actions, communicate opportunities, and share ongoing tasks.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED and 5+ years of mechanical experience with specific mechanical training and/or certifications.
- Ability to work independently, follow written and verbal instructions, and work cooperatively with other personnel.
- Extensive knowledge of team processes, engagement skills, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Intermediate digital literacy, including Microsoft Office programs.
- Mechanical experience in a regulated environment is preferred.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Ability to work at heights, close quarters, crawl under and over equipment, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Regular and reliable on-site attendance is required.
