Job Summary

Uniti Med is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team as a travel professional in a dynamic operating room environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile environment and ensuring patient safety.
  • Prepare and maintain operating room equipment, instruments, and supplies, adhering to infection control protocols.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth procedure execution, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Participate in pre- and post-operative patient care, providing emotional support and addressing patient needs.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to regulatory requirements and Uniti Med's standards.
Requirements
  • Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a perioperative setting, preferably in a travel or temporary role
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and priorities, with a focus on patient care and safety
