Clinical Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Clinical Coordinator to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate tests and treatments with various departments to facilitate patient care.
- Maintain a working knowledge of diagnostic and treatment services to schedule tests and treatments effectively.
- Facilitate communication between healthcare teams and patients through multiple-line telephone, unit/site paging, and hospital information systems.
- Process patient charges and related procedures through the electronic medical record system.
- Compile necessary chart forms for patient admissions, transfers, discharges, and expirations.
- Verify medical records for completeness and accuracy.
- Establish and maintain positive customer relationships and contribute to a harmonious work environment.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- No prior experience required.
- Basic computer skills and excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
