Cardiology Opportunity with the Department of Veteran Affairs

The Department of Veteran Affairs is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Interventional Cardiologist to join our team at the Overton Brooks VA Medical Center in Shreveport, LA.
Key Responsibilities- Perform inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular consultation services
- Conduct standard diagnostic and cardiovascular procedures, including cardiac catheterization, ECG, angioplasty, etc.
- Provide clinical practice and teaching services to Cardiology fellows, residents, and medical students
- Participate in faculty appointment at the affiliated Louisiana State University Health and Science Center
- Board certification in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology
- Experience in peripheral vascular intervention is preferred
- Structural heart disease intervention and/or venous intervention training desirable
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or non-citizen with a valid work permit
- Full and unrestricted license from any U.S. State
- Predictable work schedules and a focus on quality rather than volume
- Annual performance bonus up to an additional $15K per year
