Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Certified Dietary Manager to lead our Culinary Services Department at Phoebe Ministries. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our food services program, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing exceptional customer service to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive food services program that meets the dietary needs of our residents.
  • Supervise and train a team of culinary staff to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation.
  • Manage food inventory, ordering, and storage to minimize waste and optimize resources.
  • Collaborate with our healthcare team to develop menus that meet the nutritional needs of our residents.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective department operations.

Requirements:

  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree in a related field, such as Culinary Arts, Hospitality, or Dietetics.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a long-term care setting.
  • Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification and ServeSafe certification.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
