MDS Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated MDS Coordinator - RN to join our team at Genesis HealthCare Services. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely and accurate completion of the MDS treatment assessment tool and reviewing care plans to ensure compliance with our high standards of care.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the overall process and tracking of all Medicare/Medicaid case-mix documents to ensure appropriate reimbursement for services provided within the nursing center.
- Conduct concurrent MDS reviews to ensure achievement of maximum allowable RUG categories.
- Integrate information from nursing, dietary, social services, restorative, rehabilitation, and physician services to ensure appropriate reimbursement.

To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A graduate degree in nursing from an accredited school.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
- At least one year of long-term care nursing experience.
