Key Responsibilities

  • Develop web applications that align with business objectives and requirements.
  • Address end-user needs effectively.
  • Identify and troubleshoot system issues.
  • Provide informed recommendations.
  • Collaborate with analysts, project leaders, designers, and clients.
  • Engage in all stages of the development lifecycle.
  • Write clean, efficient, and testable code using HTML5, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript.
  • Comfortable working in both front-end and back-end development environments.
  • Ensure all designs adhere to specified guidelines.
  • Meet deadlines for time-sensitive projects.
  • Contribute positively to the team atmosphere.
  • Encourage a culture of innovation and idea-sharing.
  • Participate in peer code reviews to maintain accountability and quality.
  • Ensure compliance with accessibility standards.

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.


Certifications: Relevant certifications in DoD M Cybersecurity workforce, compliance with DoD Directive 8140, and IAT Level II.


Experience: Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience or a combination of education and professional training. Experience in a DoD or Intelligence Community environment is preferred. Familiarity with website and application security practices, as well as web design and UI layout, is essential.

Skills: Strong work ethic, excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability to work independently.


Preferred Skills

Technical Expertise: At least 10 years of experience beyond educational qualifications.


Advanced Skills: Proficient in JavaScript, including object-oriented programming, jQuery, and other client-side frameworks. Solid experience with HTML and CSS. Knowledgeable in the design, development, and maintenance of fully functional websites and applications. Strong understanding of UI principles, cross-browser compatibility, and web standards. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, SQL, and various relational database management systems. Understanding of Cloud services and capabilities.


Multitasking and Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while possessing a comprehensive understanding of cyber threats and network security methodologies.


This position requires on-site presence.
