Ultrasound Coordinator

Crestwood Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Ultrasound Coordinator to join our team. As an Ultrasound Coordinator, you will be responsible for performing ultrasound examinations, providing guidance and direction to ultrasound students, and communicating effectively with departmental and interdepartmental teams.

• Perform ultrasound examinations for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physician
• Perform a variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative in applying ultrasound techniques for radiologic diagnosis
• Responsible for the safety and comfort of all patients undergoing ultrasound procedures
• Perform all procedures according to departmental protocol
• Provide guidance, direction, and mentoring to the Ultrasound students and effectively communicate departmentally and interdepartmentally
• Follow relevant safety and sanitation guidelines
• Perform vascular procedures requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative in applying ultrasound techniques for imaging diagnosis
• Responsible for the safety and comfort of all patients undergoing ultrasound procedures
• Ensure that all procedures have been appropriately ordered with satisfactory patient identification obtained prior to conducting procedure

• Graduated from an accredited program or college/university (required)
• ARRT Vascular Sonography Certification (required)
• ARDMS Certification (preferred)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) (required)
• Minimum 1 year experience (required)
