Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome and orient guests and residents, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Coach independent living skills, promoting self-sufficiency and confidence.
  • Promote healthy communication, active listening, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational health and safety protocols, conducting regular rounds and scheduled fire drills as necessary.
  • Submit timely progress and incident reports, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with the Choose Help, Make Progress, and Shared Services teams to support Day Center activities and meal services.
Requirements
  • Embracing the organization's Statement of Faith.
  • Legally authorized to work in the US, with no sponsorship opportunities available at this time.
  • Highly relational with strong interpersonal skills, able to build trust and rapport with guests and colleagues.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow organizational protocols and provide accountability, ensuring a safe and respectful environment.
  • Growing understanding and application of trauma-informed care, with a commitment to creating a safe space for all.
  • High School Diploma/GED or higher, with a strong foundation in communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong conflict resolution skills, with the ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
  • Good email communication skills, with the ability to write clear and concise reports.
  • Basic computer proficiency, with experience using software and systems relevant to the role.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified in Fire Safety (F-80 or F-02).
  • Certified in CPR.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Certified in NCI - Non-Crisis Intervention.
Compensation

$19.23 per hour.
