Position Summary
We are looking for a skilled engineer to join our team and contribute to the advancement of ReCarbon's plasma reforming technology.
This role demands a candidate with expertise in chemistry, physics, engineering, technical documentation, and root cause analysis, along with strong communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate, assemble, and maintain chemical processing equipment.
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to develop the next generation of reactors.
- Engage in process safety evaluations (HAZOP, PHA, LOPA).
- Create and update P&ID diagrams for chemical processing systems.
- Manage report generation, templating, and data analysis for experiments.
- Identify and assess opportunities for process enhancements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry with 0-2 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in designing and conducting experiments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with analytical chemistry and spectroscopic techniques is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Python, R, and other scripting/visualization/business intelligence tools is a plus.
- Theoretical and practical knowledge of plasma physics is beneficial.
- Experience in industries such as Oil and Gas, Pharmaceuticals, or Semiconductors is a plus.
- Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
Work Location: Fremont, CA
Travel Requirements: Up to 25%, both domestic and international.
