About the Role

Glanbia plc is a leading global nutrition company, and we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Intern to join our team at Glanbia Performance Nutrition (GPN). As a Supply Chain Intern, you will play a key role in supporting our production planning, demand planning, materials planning, and order management processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support production planning for a small category, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products to meet customer demands.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze demand patterns and develop effective demand planning strategies.
  • Assist in materials planning for a specific ingredient category, ensuring optimal inventory levels and minimizing stockouts.
  • Work closely with the GPN customer base to manage orders, resolve issues, and ensure seamless distribution and transportation execution.
Requirements
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or a related field.
  • Experience building and maintaining relationships within a team.
  • Strong written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter with a high level of motivation and ability to follow through on tasks with minimal direction.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
