Job Summary: We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced High School Science Teacher to join our team at Springfield Public Schools. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching science to high school students and developing a passion for learning in them.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach science to high school students and develop a passion for learning in them.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of all students.
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to improve teaching skills.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Science Education or related field.
  • Valid teaching certification.
  • Experience teaching high school science.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
