We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our team in the Neurosciences Acute Care Unit at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the health and well-being of our patients.

About the Role

As a Patient Care Technician in our Neurosciences Acute Care Unit, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, including those with neurological disorders such as Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, and seizures. You will be responsible for providing direct patient care, including vital sign monitoring, medication administration, and wound care. You will also have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to our patients.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Active Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in Maryland is required
  • One year of clinical experience, including home care, outpatient, or acute care experience
  • BLS CPR certification required
