Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional service to maintain and develop strong client relationships with existing and new multi-state property tax clients.
  • Perform thorough reviews of property tax returns and valuations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Analyze new legislative developments to identify tax saving opportunities and tax planning strategies.
  • Assist and analyze property tax considerations related to business restructuring and/or due diligence engagements.
  • Serve as a mentor and coach to the engagement team by providing training, feedback, and guidance.
Requirements
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or closely related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience providing property tax services in a public accounting, consulting, or law firm.
  • Thorough knowledge of a variety of property tax laws, regulations, policies, and procedures, as well as tax planning, restructuring, due diligence, audit defense, reverse audits, and state controversy work.
  • Ability to work closely with clients to answer questions or to collect necessary information for tax service requirements.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% to 20% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficient in PTMS and Microsoft products.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
