Experience:

Objectives of the Role:
Execute assembly and packaging tasks in accordance with defined operational protocols, fulfilling the following responsibilities:

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Produce high-quality assembled automotive components safely and efficiently, achieving various scheduled production targets.
2. Oversee inventory management by adhering to established protocols, including labeling, locating parts, and accurately picking components to fulfill orders.
3. Interpret and apply blueprints and work instructions, both written and verbal, to complete the assembly of products or components according to set guidelines and quality benchmarks.
4. Conduct inspections and tests on parts and products as required, during or post-assembly, in line with established quality standards.
5. Maintain a tidy and organized workspace, ensuring all equipment is serviced according to maintenance and 6S standards.
6. Engage in problem-solving and troubleshooting as part of a team dedicated to continuous improvement of products and processes.

Work Environment:
The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, and the noise level in the workplace is typically moderate.
While performing the duties of this role, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to manipulate objects, reach with hands and arms, and communicate effectively. The employee may occasionally need to sit, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Frequent lifting and/or moving of up to 50 lbs is required. Specific vision abilities necessary for this position include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required, with 2-5 years of relevant experience or training, or a suitable combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Proficient in writing basic correspondence and presenting information in one-on-one and small group settings.
- Competency in basic mathematical calculations, including rates, ratios, and percentages.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to execute detailed but straightforward written or verbal instructions.
- Capability to address issues involving a few concrete variables in standard situations.
- Willingness to learn and implement continuous improvement methodologies such as 5S, one-piece flow, and setup reduction.
