Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Della Infotech in Brattleboro, VT. As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and stabilize the respiratory status of patients of all ages, including neonates
  • Respond to medical emergencies within the facility and provide critical care as needed
  • Set up and maintain equipment for patients requiring mechanical ventilation, NIPPV, and invasive and noninvasive procedures
  • Maintain the arterial blood gas laboratory, including obtaining samples and analyzing data to determine treatment adjustments
  • Ensure compliance with CAP standards and Respiratory Care Clinical Practice Guidelines
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited program in Respiratory Care
  • 1 year of acute care experience
  • Ability to work independently and provide care for patients on a ventilator to maintain a stable airway
  • Ability to perform arterial blood gas draws and intubate independently (preferred)
  • Current certifications in ACLS, PALS, NRP, and BLS
  • State license to practice in Vermont
Work Schedule

This position requires rotating weekends and 4 hours of on-call time with a sleep room provided. Additional hours may be required if woken up between 1 am and 5 am.
