Adecco USA is seeking a skilled Automation Technician to join our innovative team. This position is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about automation technology, robotics, and resolving unique automation challenges. You will engage in advanced custom automation projects and collaborate closely with both mechanical and electrical engineers.

Compensation: $61,000 - $71,000 annually, depending on experience.

Work Schedule: Minimum of 40 hours per week with potential overtime. 1st Shift, consisting of 4-10 hour days. Occasional travel may be required, up to 25%.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Project Collaboration: Partner with fellow technicians and engineers on tailored automation projects developed by our team.
  • Assembly and Diagnostics: Assemble, wire, and troubleshoot a variety of automation components. Configure HMIs, electrical panels, PLCs, VFDs, SCARA, and 6-axis robots.
  • Project Coordination: Achieve ambitious goals and timelines for project assembly and delivery.
  • Field Assistance: Occasionally travel to provide support for field service teams on assignments.
  • Safety and Regulations: Recognize safety concerns and comply with safety protocols. Exhibit strong communication skills and lead by example.
  • Flexibility: Adapt to evolving requirements during different phases of project development.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Demonstrated experience in automation, including assembly, wiring, and troubleshooting of customized automation systems.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expertise with PLCs, VFDs, SCARA, and 6-axis robots. Capability to read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Education: Relevant technical education or equivalent experience in automation or a related discipline.
  • Travel Availability: Willingness to travel up to 25% as necessary for field service support.
  • Safety Gear: Steel toe shoes and safety glasses are required during the interview process.

Compensation Details: $61,000.00 to $71,000.00 per year.
