Fluor Marine Propulsion, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Engineer and Physicist to join our team at the Naval Nuclear Laboratory. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing engineering support and independent oversight of work associated with installation, reactor servicing, testing, and modification of reactor plant systems, components, and safety systems.
The selected candidate will work closely with our team to apply sound engineering principles and judgment to influence and provide feedback to on-site management and partner organizations. This is a unique opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from new construction to maintenance and repair, and to contribute to the safe and reliable operation of our nation's submarine and aircraft carrier fleets.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in nuclear engineering and physics, as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills. You will also need to be able to pass a Federal background investigation and meet eligibility requirements for access to classified matter.
