Full Time Exempt | The Clinical Dietitian is accountable for the comprehensive nutritional care of residents, ensuring quality standards, dietary adjustments, meal distribution, nutrition care strategies, and associated documentation.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of two years' experience as a Clinical Dietitian is essential
  • Current Certified Dietary Managers Certification or State Qualified Dietitian for Long-Term Care is mandatory
  • Thorough understanding of relevant federal, state, and local regulations
  • Proven leadership capabilities
  • Ability to foster positive relationships with team members, residents, and visitors
Expectations:
  • Conducts all necessary nutrition assessments, goal setting, and documentation through active involvement in the assessment and care planning process
  • Contributes to the development and upkeep of food service policies, procedures, and objectives
  • Assists in the formulation of daily menu specials in alignment with all relevant policies and regulations
  • Engages in the food services Quality Assurance Program
  • Aids the Director of Food Services in maintaining precise daily and monthly meal counts
  • Keeps records, prepares, and submits reports as required by community policies and governmental regulations
  • Supports the Director of Food Services in ensuring the safety of the kitchen environment
  • Maintains a clean and sanitary workspace in accordance with established standards
  • Ensures cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, dining room, and pantry through daily inspections
  • Implements the food services department cleaning schedule
