This position is responsible for developing and implementing feed formulations to meet the nutritional needs of turkeys at various stages of their lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of animal nutrition and be able to work effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality and consistency of our feed products.

• Develop and implement feed formulations to meet the nutritional needs of turkeys
• Conduct laboratory testing and analysis of feed ingredients and finished feed products
• Prepare and operate laboratory equipment, including balances, scales, ovens, and NIR instruments
• Sample preparation, testing, and computation of results from testing procedures
• Shipment of samples to other laboratories for external testing
• Comprehension and use of all safety equipment to properly conduct testing, data entry, and summary report generation

• Associate degree in Animal Science, Microbiology, Poultry Science, or related field
• High School Diploma required
• Valid North Carolina Driver's License and acceptable motor vehicle driving record preferred
• Excellent communication and computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel
• Basic mathematical skills and ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions in English
