Job Summary

The Peer Note Taker position at Babson College provides class notes to eligible students registered with Accessibility Services. This role is responsible for taking copious notes during class time and uploading quality class notes from your course on the same day.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Take notes during class time
  • Upload class notes within 12 hours of the end of the class
  • Submit a timesheet once a week, an hour after the last class of the week
  • Find a substitute if unable to attend class

Qualifications
  • Excellent listening skills
  • Neat handwriting (if a laptop is not permitted in class)
  • Excellent typing and computer skills

Other
All employees of Babson College, including note takers, are expected to uphold the college's core values, including ethical work practice. Note takers should not submit time when they do not take notes. A social security number is required, and you must supply Student Employment with the necessary documents to be eligible to work on campus.
