Position Overview

As a Junior Environmental Consultant, you will play a crucial role in supporting water quality initiatives for various development projects. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting and assisting in the collection and validation of environmental data across multiple sectors, including industrial, water/wastewater, and energy, utilizing established methodologies.
  • Performing data analysis and technical documentation while coordinating project timelines and deliverables with project managers and technical teams.
  • Maintaining and updating extensive data sets for different projects, ensuring efficient data retrieval and manipulation for analytical purposes.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should demonstrate a commitment to high-quality professional standards and deliverables. Collaboration with professionals from various disciplines, clients, project managers, and operational leadership is essential.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree or relevant certification.
  • Local hire preference.
  • 2-5 years of experience in water sample analysis.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences or a closely related field.
  • Familiarity with wetland delineation, field investigation techniques, and agency coordination requirements.
  • Strong writing and communication skills.
