Cardiology Medicine Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cardiology Medicine physician to join our team at the Hershel Woody Williams Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Huntington, W. Va.

Job Summary

The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting weekly Cardiology Clinics, answering inpatient and outpatient consultations, interpreting and generating reports of all cardiology procedures, and performing Cardiac Catheterizations. Additionally, the physician will be involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows from the Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine Marshall University and supervising Cardiology Fellows.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct weekly Cardiology Clinics
  • Answer inpatient and outpatient consultations
  • Interpret and generate reports of all cardiology procedures
  • Perform Cardiac Catheterizations
  • Teach medical students, residents, and fellows
  • Supervise Cardiology Fellows
