Job Summary

PacifiCorp is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for developing distribution system engineering studies, plans, specifications, calculations, evaluations, design documents, and performance assessments associated with the planning, design, licensing, construction, operation, and maintenance of the Company's distribution facilities/systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze system design, programming, and modification.
  • Develop studies of limited scope and prepare data for cost estimations and analyses.
  • Run equipment and performance tests and install and inspect new equipment.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to engineering standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited college/university.
  • Basic knowledge and application of principles in area of engineering specialty.
  • Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
  • Ability to interact favorably with project and work teams.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills involving the ability to work cross-functionally to understand requirements, present alternatives, and recommendations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Engineering experience specific to industrial power systems or electric utility power systems.
  • Knowledge of CYME modeling tool.
  • Knowledge of Cadops/netCadops.
  • Knowledge of an energy management system.
  • Knowledge of PLS-CADD.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge of power quality equipment and software.
  • Knowledge of ASPEN Oneliner.
What We Offer

PacifiCorp offers a competitive salary range of $76,200-$103,100, as well as an annual discretionary performance incentive bonus of up to 12.00% of salary. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health care, retirement, paid time off, tuition assistance, paid short-term and long-term disability, and paid bereavement leave.
