Job Description:

Are you a skilled mechanic looking for a challenging and rewarding career opportunity? Do you have a passion for working with your hands and troubleshooting complex mechanical issues? We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our team at Health & Human Services Comm.

In this role, you will be responsible for performing skilled mechanical work on a variety of vehicles, including diesel and gasoline engine powered equipment. You will work independently or as part of a team to diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues, and maintain a high level of quality and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues, including engine and transmission problems.
  • Work with a variety of tools and equipment, including lifts, air compressors, and welding equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, and adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of experience as an Automotive Mechanic or related field.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
