The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a vital role in delivering essential daily living assistance to residents, focusing on enhancing their individual capabilities while adhering to all applicable regulations and standards. This position reports directly to the Resident Care Director.

- Completion of a State-approved CNA program
- Current certification in good standing with the state
- Preferred: One year of experience in senior care services
- CPR certification required upon hire or during orientation
- Must demonstrate patience, tact, and a positive attitude
- Ability to make independent decisions when necessary
- Knowledge of nursing aide practices and regulations
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
Below are the primary duties associated with this role, though additional tasks may be assigned as needed:
- Assist residents with daily living activities as outlined in their care plans
- Conduct routine checks to ensure residents' needs are met
- Support residents during meal times and encourage participation in activities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in residents' living spaces
- Document and report any changes in residents' conditions
- Welcome new residents and assist them in acclimating to the community
- Adhere to infection control protocols at all times
- Ability to respond promptly to resident needs
- Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Excellent customer service and a positive demeanor
- Physical capability to assist residents with mobility and personal care
- Commitment to following company policies and procedures
