Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Care:

    • Assist with minor surgical procedures, perform phlebotomy, and collect specimens for testing
    • Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Clerical and Administrative:
    • Manage patient flow, schedule appointments, and respond to phone calls and messages
    • Process patient registration, insurance verification, and billing procedures
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the EMR
  • Environmental and Safety:
    • Adhere to infection control policies and procedures
    • Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
    • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor
Requirements:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification
  • Medical Assistant certification within 90 days of hire
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of medical office experience or relevant customer service experience
