LPN Night Shifts in Christian Environment

The Good Samaritan Society is committed to providing high-quality care and service to our residents in a Christian environment. We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at GSS SD Miller Prairie Ctr in Miller, SD.
This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $24.00 - $36.00 per hour, plus shift incentives and a sign-on bonus of $10,000. As an LPN at the Good Samaritan Society, you will provide professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long-term care, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician.
You will demonstrate knowledge of nursing principles for the resident in the relevant clinical setting, possess the ability to perform testing to evaluate data reflective of the resident's status, and administer medications or treatments as ordered. You will also ensure the health, comfort, and safety of residents, contribute to the assessment of residents, and document resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, medication, behavior, activity, and dietary.
Additionally, you will counsel residents, family members, and/or resident advocates on prevention and treatment plans, develop a self-care program based on resident education principles, and work effectively with professional and supportive personnel as a member of an interdisciplinary care team.
To be successful in this role, you must have a strong educational background, including a graduate degree from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse. You must also hold an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.
