We are seeking a skilled Speech Therapist PRN to join our team at Nuvance Health. As a Speech Therapist PRN, you will work under the general supervision of the rehab manager or supervisor to perform therapy examinations, develop treatment plans and goals, and apply interventions in accordance with the Standards of Practice of the profession, applicable state licensure regulations, and hospital policies and procedures.
Responsibilities- Perform therapy examinations and develop treatment plans and goals for patients ranging from newborn to geriatric in age.
- Apply interventions in accordance with the Standards of Practice of the profession, applicable state licensure regulations, and hospital policies and procedures.
- Work under the general supervision of the rehab manager or supervisor.
- Current license to practice in Connecticut.
- Successful completion of minimum educational requirements for licensure including all clinical practice and comprehensive examinations.
- First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
- American Speech Language Hearing Association membership.
- Master's Level Degree.
This position requires significant manual skills, motor coordination, and finger dexterity.
