Job Title: Packaging Design Specialist

At Enterprise Technology Services (Etek), we are seeking a highly skilled Packaging Design Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will play a crucial role in creating innovative packaging solutions that drive consumer engagement and enhance our brand identity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conceptualization and Design: Develop creative and visually appealing packaging concepts that align with our brand guidelines and target audience preferences.
  • Graphic Design and Layout: Design packaging graphics, labels, and structural layouts using industry-standard software tools, ensuring consistency in branding elements, typography, color schemes, and imagery.
  • Material Selection and Specification: Evaluate and recommend appropriate packaging materials based on product specifications, durability requirements, and environmental considerations.
  • Prototype Development: Create physical and digital prototypes to visualize packaging concepts and assess functionality, ergonomics, and aesthetic appeal.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with packaging regulations, standards, and certifications relevant to our industry and geographical markets.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with product development, marketing, sales, and supply chain teams to align packaging design initiatives with our overall brand strategy and product positioning.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough quality checks on final artwork files, print proofs, and production samples to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to design specifications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, Industrial Design, or related field.
  • Proven experience (5 years) in packaging design within the consumer goods, retail, or manufacturing industries.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
  • Strong understanding of packaging materials, printing techniques, and production processes.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional design solutions.
