Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Wellstar Health System. As an integral part of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI procedures while ensuring exceptional patient care.

About the Role:
  • Perform MRI scans on patients of all ages, from neonates to adults, utilizing advanced imaging techniques and equipment
  • Prepare patients for exams by explaining procedures, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their safety throughout the process
  • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Operate MRI scanners efficiently, maintaining high-quality images and adhering to strict quality control standards
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and best practices
Requirements:
  • Certified MRI Technologist (CMRT) or Registered Technologist (RT) certification
  • 1+ year of experience in MRI technology, preferably in a hospital setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records and PACS systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently
Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position working 12-hour night shifts, Monday through Friday. The selected candidate must be flexible and willing to work varying schedules as needed.

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 per year, plus benefits and opportunities for career advancement within Wellstar Health System.
