Job Summary

i4 Search Group is seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering life-support, resuscitation, monitoring, and various medical gases therapy to patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Assessment and Care Planning: Perform patient assessment, care-planning, and collaboration with other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Therapeutic Modalities: Administer various therapeutic modalities prescribed by physician order or as established by approved protocol, ensuring maximum benefit and patient safety.
  • Medical Gas Administration: Administer and monitor medical gases as prescribed by physician order and as established by approved protocol, utilizing appropriate medical gas delivery devices.
  • Pulmonary Status Assessment: Assess pulmonary status of patients, communicate clinical findings to physicians, and make recommendations for appropriate therapy.
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation: Participate in cardiopulmonary resuscitation by providing basic life support, assessing patient response to clinical interventions, and communicating findings appropriately.
  • Diagnostic Testing: Perform arterial and capillary blood sample collection and analysis, verify and interpret results, and clinically intervene as necessary.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapist program, Bachelor's in Respiratory Therapy preferred, Associate of Science Degree, minimum.
  • License and Certification: Current Respiratory Therapist License from the State of practice, Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentials, and Basic Life Support (BLS) card from the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Experience: Recent graduate of a Respiratory Therapy school or two years of recent Respiratory Therapist experience in a Tertiary Hospital.
