Furthermore, this educator will foster the development of essential life skills that align with the district's objective of preparing students for community engagement upon graduation or completion of their high school certificate.
Key Responsibilities

Cultivate and sustain positive relationships with students, colleagues, and families while collaborating to create tailored educational plans for each student. Gather and analyze data from various sources to inform instructional practices and establish goals for student progress. Maintain a strong vision for educational success and effectively communicate this vision to fellow educators. Integrate innovative technology to enhance student learning experiences. Collaborate with general education instructors to implement effective inclusion strategies that benefit all learners. Work closely with school leadership to establish an optimal learning environment. Develop and manage compliant, organized, and collaborative Individual Education Plans (IEPs). Share insights on student progress and advocate for student success within the educational community.

Qualifications

Valid teaching certification in Michigan. Endorsement in Special Education.

Compensation

Full-time teacher contract. Competitive salary based on experience.
