Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our client's dynamic team at Management Business Solutions. Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs, ensuring a tailored approach to meet their unique requirements.
  • Assess students' skills and learning requirements, utilizing data-driven insights to inform instruction and drive student progress.
  • Adapt general lessons to meet the needs of students, incorporating a range of teaching techniques and methods to engage and support diverse learners.
  • Provide direct and indirect instructional support to students in a positive and inclusive environment, fostering a sense of community and belonging.
  • Employ a variety of teaching strategies and methods to meet students' needs and capabilities, staying up-to-date with best practices in special education.
  • Monitor students' progress and use data to adjust teaching strategies accordingly, ensuring continuous improvement and student success.
  • Collaborate with other educators, parents, and support staff to ensure the success of each student, promoting a culture of teamwork and mutual support.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development, utilizing data to inform instruction and drive student growth.
  • Participate in professional development and continuing education opportunities to stay current with best practices in special education, enhancing teaching skills and expertise.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field, with a strong foundation in educational theory and practice.
  • Valid teaching certification in Special Education (or eligibility for certification), demonstrating a commitment to professional development and excellence in teaching.
  • Strong understanding of the principles, practices, and procedures of special education, with a focus on inclusive and supportive teaching practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective teaching strategies, staying adaptable and responsive to the needs of diverse learners.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to work with students with special needs, creating a safe and supportive learning environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Special Education or a related field, with advanced knowledge and expertise in special education theory and practice.
  • Experience working with students with diverse needs in a classroom setting, with a focus on inclusive and supportive teaching practices.
  • Familiarity with IEP development and implementation, with a strong understanding of the importance of individualized education plans.
  • Knowledge of assistive technologies and adaptive tools for special education, with a focus on using technology to enhance teaching and learning.
